Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight
No doubt most people have seen the movie The Dark Knight in theatres and were blown away by the performance of the late Heath Ledger as The Joker. He was simply masterful in his vile depiction of The Clown Prince of Crime and really drove home the character’s emphasis on being an Agent of Chaos.
But what if that kind of person actually existed? What if our society was subject to a person who simply wished to enact as much fear and destruction as possible? Agents of Chaos are those who simply “want to see the world burn” and there are many people who are emotionally at that point now or could be driven to that point with a single nudge.
We as a society need to be careful of those who become so disenchanted with life that they start to take pleasure in the suffering and destruction of others. Therapy and social action need to be taken to help those who quietly suffer and are unable to put a smile on their face. Otherwise, we risk these tortured individuals walking down a path where chaos becomes their desire.
Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker cryptically showed just what kind of menace we could face if a person is driven too far… into a world without rules… and I, for one, would prefer to not have to endure that.

Out of My Head
Though I’ve been on this planet for only a scant period of time, I’ve picked up a few tidbits of knowledge from my experiences that I feel are worthy to pass on to others. There’s still much to learn for myself and for others but I’m pretty confident that the following three things are worthy of spending a lot of money on in order to find happiness:
Buying a good bed/mattress
I don’t know about you but I value my sleep. I value it so much that I sleep during the night, the day, the afternoon and anytime else I can get some sleep. Having a good bed to sleep on is paramount to getting a restful nap. If your bed is too small, you’ll sleep in a scrunched-up ball. If your mattress is too hard, your shoulders and back feel like they’ve taken a beating. If your mattress is too soft, you’ll flounder away into it like a jellyfish with no bones. Spending whatever it takes to find a bed/mattress to your liking is definitely worth it considering just how much benefit one gets from sleep. It’s the difference between a good day and a bad day for most of us.
Eating tasty food
This doesn’t mean that one should fork out ridiculous amounts of money for “expensive food”. This means spending enough money to have good food that you enjoy eating. They, whoever “they” may be, say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well, I think that applies to both men and women. Give them good food and they’ll be happy… so don’t spend frivolously if you’re not happy with what you’re eating. Spend on food and be content with what you eat… and try to eat healthy!
Giving money to charity
There are so many people out there who are less fortunate than us. Most of those people don’t have access to the Internet so they can’t read this blog and learn these tips to happiness. I say most because maybe some are able to use the Internet at the library specifically just to visit Target Theory. That’s what they do – they visit this blog! Regardless, don’t skimp out on giving to charities. Give as much as you can and do it without trying to tally up what you just gave out… because in the end, you’re rewarded with more money and peace than you could have otherwise. If you’re looking to give to charity but can’t find any, feel free to send me your money. I’ll happily accept it in order to give you peace.

Through The Eons of Time
Sometimes I ask myself this question and try to decipher who I am in order to better understand what it is that I’m all about. It’s intended to re-prioritize and refocus on what I want and what I need to do to get there. Sounds straight-forward enough, right?
Nauman is all about:
- Coming up with new terms like “total awesomeness” and trying to see if it’ll catch on amongst others.
- Figuring out the solution to the world’s problems while doing nothing about them.
- Listening to hard rock music and then listening to gangsta rap and then classical music…
- Writing blog posts and wondering why people don’t comment on it…
- Watching movies – lots of ‘em – and then getting inspired to want to do great things!
- Playing lots of hockey to kill several birds with one stone…
Nauman is planning to:
- Make the most of Ramadan by spending more time in worship and studying.
- Read more on economic/finance systems advocated by Islamic Jurisprudence.
- Work out like a madman – gotta rebuild my muscles!
- Watch the season opener of Dexter later this month! Blooooooddddd!
Nauman is wondering about:
- How one goes about meeting someone special?
- Will I ever get to visit Kazakhstan? Or Rimouski!
- What it’ll take to cement myself amongst the best?
I’m sure there are things that others could think of too like “Nauman is all about retarded blog postings!” but I think I’ll roll with these for now. I know where I’m at. Do you?
PS: By popular demand I’ve decided to start including song lyrics again in my posts… I didn’t realize that many people actually liked them… so here we go again.
